Workshop for women entrepreneurs by Shakthi
Shakti, the women’s wing of Swadeshi Science Movement of Bharat, is organising an Experience Sharing Workshop on Women and Scientafic Micro- enterprises in Kerala(WASM-K). A date is yet to be confirmed, as per our information the proposed meet will be held in next month , July 2011. The workshop will be a dais for women who are self-employed or have taken up schemes of self-employment that has a scientific orientation. This platform can be used for mutual benefit in regard to sharing and learning concepts, models and processes for the empowerment of women.
SHAKTI- the National Movement for Women is formed with a great determination of uniting the women of India for a creative purpose. In order to boost the prospects and explore and create opportunities for women entrepreneur,this exclusive meet up will be conducted in Cochin.
Diffrent women entreprenuers from various streams like fisheries, agriculture, textile, communication, food processing or any field can participate in the workshop. Through this the workshop aims to bring together the technology developers and trainers along with the technology adopters. Women groups who have adopted different technologies and have generated employment using the scientific technologies would be the highlight for the meet.
Kochi women ,if you are an entreprenuer, had proved feat in your domain, you can give a presentation of your success story at the workshop. This will foster self development and women Entrepreneurship
The meet aims to focus on key issues facing women entrepreneurs and professionals through a series of discussions. There will also be a more intensive component covering ‘must haves’ for running successful ventures relevant for all including women entrepreneurs, women corporate executives at all levels and from all functions who have been thinking of starting their own business and all other women who have the desire to start a venture and create a difference in the larger macro environment.
