The Thrissur based Westfort Hospital Group’s eventful history started in the year 1989 when it established Westfort Hospital, a multi-specialty hospital with 110 beds. The far-sighted vision of Mr.K.M. Mr. Dhanesh Mohan, his brilliant son and the Managing Partner who has done his higher education in Australia, proved to be a blessing to the Group for its enviable achievements. Both opened new vistas in multiple zones with their prudent and far sighted vision.
Equipped with all ultra-modern facilities Westfort Hospital has become a major presence in the cultural capital of the State with 250 beds. The first private hospital in Thrissur to establish a Trauma Unit with Neurology and Neuro-Surgical facilities, it has a spiral C.T Scan Unit, a full fledged Nephrology Unit, a Densitometer in Orthopaedics. Hi-Tech Hospital
The Westfort Hi-Tech hospital Ltd at Punkunnam was started in the year 2002 as a 300 bedded multi-speciality hospital with ultra-modern equipments for all treatments and diagnoses. It provides holistic medical care involving Ayurveda, Yoga and Meditation. The hospital has upper speciality services in almost every disciplines of Medicine. The Hospital offers various health packages to suit individual and group requirements like Master Health Check up Programme, Comprehensive Health Check up Programme and Health Care Insurance Scheme.
The Hotel
In 2002, it had also set up a Star Hotel, Krishna Inn, at East Nada of Guruvayur Temple, the abode of the Lord Krishna, with all required facilities. It offers 51 centrally air-conditioned deluxe rooms spacious and elegant with modern facilities.
Ayurveda Hospital
In 2005, the Group started a 40 bedded multi speciality Ayurveda hospital with all modern facilities very close to the Westfort Hospital. An authentic centre of Ayurveda. It offers eco-friendly herbal treatment to acquire immunity power and to prevent and cure diseases. The speciality treatment here include arthritis, Eye care, infertility, Hepatitis-B, Liver care, Obesity, Beauty and Skin care, Mental health, Enhancing immunity and Total spine care. Other treatment performed here are ophthalmic procedures like Tharpanam, Netra Dhara etc.,designed as packages of 7 or 14 days depending on nature of the eye diseases. Eye department offers treatments for Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, Progressive Myopia Corneal Disorders, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Allergic Eye Disorders etc.
