Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary

Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is 17 km east of Sulthan Bathery. Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, which established in 1973 encompasses an area of 344.33 sq. kilometers and is made up of two discontinuous pockets – Muthanga 18 km west of Sulthan Bathery in the south and Tholpetty which lies 15 km from Mananthavady in the north.
