Thunjan Parambu Museum

The museum is a part of Thunjan Parambu in Tirur, Malappuram Dt. Thujan Parambu is the birth place of Thunjuath Ezhuthachan, known as the Father of Malayalam literature. Four centuries back he wrote the Malayalam classics Adhyathama Ramayanam, Mahabharatham etc. and refined Malayalam language.

This Memorial consists of a cultural complex, Library and Saraswathy mandapam. A literary museum dedicated to Thunjath Ezhuthassan also functions here. Opened in 2008,the Malayalam Literary Museum displays the history/photographs connected with Malayalam literature, arts and culture. Thunjan parambu is only 1.5km from Tirur railway station/bus stand
