Thikkodi Light house Beach

Thikkodi is 35 km from Kozhikode.  Thikkodi lighthouse was built after a shipwreck, the remains of which can still be seen here. The beach overlooking the Velliyamkallu Rock was much dreaded by mariners, off Mtoodadi coast.  The region around the Velliyamkallu Rock is home to migratory birds.
