Akkulam
Akkulam is another tourist village barely 10kms away from Thiruvananthapuram. It is a calm and scenic place for relaxation and fun. The village is a well known backwater destination. It is an extension of the Veli backwaters and is endowed with picturesque locale. There is a popular Boating club here along with a swimming pool for the young and the old alike.
