Kerala Wildlife & Mountain Tour (12 Nights – 13 Days) - Western Ghats, a chain of ancient mountains, situated on the west coast of India, is one among the 20 bio-diversity hot spots on earth. Emerged from Gondwanaland this mountains carry more than 20 types of tropical forests, including high altitude Shola forest. This is the home for 43 tribal groups from 3 primitive ethnic groups. This is a naturalist guided tour of different pattern to the hotspots of Western Ghats from Kochi. This tours are meant for tourists from +50 age group which is not involves much physical strain.

Day 01: Cochin
On arrival at Cochin, meet our representative and our naturalist. Proceed to the hotel. Afternoon, proceed for a half day sightseeing of Cochin. Overnight at the hotel. The St.Francis Church , oldest European Church in India and Synagogue , Asia’s best preserve are Cochin’s prime attractions.
A leisurely walk through the Fort Cochin area which gives you a close look at the Chinese fishing nets, low flying turns and black kites, if lucky you can spot dolphins in the estuary
Day 02: Cochin – Munnar
After breakfast, proceed to Munnar hill station through the Midland .Munnar is elevated side of Anamalai range of Kerala; Munnar’s tea gardens, are pockets of forest rich in birds. On arrival, check in at the resort & later carry on exploring the bird pockets of Eravikulam National Park. Overnight stay at Munnar
Day 03: Munnar – Chinnar
Morning, proceed to Chinnar wildlife sanctuary, On arrival, check in at the Hotel & later start for a trek thorough the forest. Dinner & overnight at the Hotel. This nature trail you presents fascinating bird and animal life
Day 04 – Anamalai
Today, you will be transferred to Anamalai wildlife sanctuary, situated at an altitude of 1,400 meters in the Western Ghats. Day free to explore the wildlife. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 05 – Anamalai – Parambikulam
Full day free to discover the wilderness of Anamalai Hills. Dinner & overnight at the Hotel/ farm stay Trek to Kariayanchola National Park- a wet evergreen forest consisting endemic plants, reptiles and amphibians. It is home to 14 out of the 16 western ghats endemics. Animals can be seen when an evening safari thrugh the moist deciduous forest.
Day 06 – Masinagudi
Morning, drive towards to Masinagudi, which is located on foothill of Nilgiri,few kilometres from Ooty, between Muthumalai-Bandipur Tiger belt, on the Karnataka – Tamilnadu Border. On arrival, check in at the Hotel and later discover the wildlife of the area. Overnight at the hotel. You can have adventurous trails, elephant ride, jeep ride hiking and trekking options.
Day 07 – Bandipur
Morning, proceed to Bandipur. On arrival, check in at the Hotel & later proceed to explore the wildlife of the area. Overnight at the Hotel. The Bandipur National Park is an important tiger reserve in South India and a part of Nilgiri Biosphere reserve. It is also famous for Sandalwood trees and rare species of Flora. You can see Peafowl, dhole (wild dog) elephants, sambhar, patridges, quail, hornbill, giant squirrel, barking deer, etc.
Day 08 – Mysore
After breakfast, drive to Mysore, the city of palaces. On arrival check in at the Hotel. Later free for sightseeing. Overnight at the Hotel. Mysore, second largest city in India ,offers several attractions for sightseeing. It has biggest flower market in south, royal splendor of Mysore City and its fabulous Dasara Festival to exquisite temples and pilgrimage centres
Day 09 – Mysore
Full day free to explore the cultural heritage of Mysore city. Visit to Rangathittu Bird Sanctuary. Overnight at the Hotel. Rangathittu, on the river Cauvery, are home for an astonishing variety of migratory birds from as far away as Siberia – Spoon bills, Open Bill Stork, White Ibis, Little Egret, Darter, Pond Heron, Cattle Egret, Cormorant, Wild Duck, Peafowl.
Day 10 – Kabani
Morning, proceed to Kabani. On arrival, check in at the Hotel. Day free to discover the wildlife. Overnight at the Hotel. Kabani in the lap of Wayanad is an ideal spot for adventure with it virgin forests.
Day 11 – Kabani
Full day at Kabini for own activities- Jungle Saffaris, kayaking and boating through the lake. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 12 – Wayanad
After breakfast, proceed to Wayanad, the forest district of Kerala. On arrival, check in at the Hotel. Day free for own activities. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 13 – Cochin Departure
By morning, proceed to Cochin for the departure
