Alumkadavu
Located on the northern Backwaters of Kollam, where you will see the crafting of kettuvallom at the houseboat building yard. Alumkadavu, a small village at Karunagappally in Kollam which is known for its backwaters. For long, Alumkadavu has been a boat-building centre. Traditional Kerala houseboats are still built and repaired here. You can also visit coir-making units and learn how rope is made.
