Nattika Beach Resort

The Nattika Beach Resort in Thrissur district is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Kerala. Endless stretches of golden beach fringed with graceful coconut.  Nattika’s prime tourist attractions include back water cruises on country boats, elephant rides, deep-sea fishing and much more.

The villas come in three categories. Superior Deluxe villas (AC),Deluxe Villas (AC)and Twin Villas (Non AC).

The Superior Deluxe Villas are very spacious villas with large verandah, bedroom area, dressing area and open to sky bathroom. These villas are air conditioned, with mini fridge and telephone. They are built in Kerala style with an excellent view of the ocean.

The Deluxe villas are a little bit smaller than Superior Deluxe villa, but have a big verandah, spacious room, air conditioned with mini fridge and telephone. They also have a good view of the ocean.

The Twin villas are double units with verandah, spacious room, air conditioned with mini fridge and telephone.

The restaurant offers a wide range of cuisine including Ayurvedic. The Yoga centre’s sessions are led by an experienced Yoga master. Ayurveda massages are among the other facilities currently offered. A full-fledged Ayurveda centre will start operating from October 2010 onwards.

The resort is about 90 minutes drive from Cochin Airport.

Palaruvi Waterfalls

Palaruvi, which means “Stream of Milk” is located 75 kms from Kollam town. This beautiful waterfall hurtles down from a height of 300 feet and collects into a small and shallow pool down beneath, where visitor are allowed for swimming. The Pallaruvi has some medicinal value and Ayurvedic physicians sometimes prescribe a bath in the waters of Palaruvi. This place is easily accessible by road or rail. (more…)
