Silver Tips, Munnar
Situated at Munnar town, at an altitude of 160 meters above sea level, Silver Tips is a premium hotel set up by the popular EVM Group. Started as a small project in 1935 by Mr E.V .Mathai, it has grown into a conglomerate with diverse business interests.
Built in Contemporary style, the façade of the resort is impressive and classy. The bedrooms, the lounge Mughal-e-Azam, the Indian and multi-cuisine restaurant Mayabazar, and the coffee shop, all blend with the architectural beauty and style. The resort has 48 executive rooms and two suites. Every room is designed in the theme taken from a popular movie.
The lounge, Mughal-e- Aazam, is a class apart and is impressively and tastefully decorated. The executive rooms are designed based on popular Hindi movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Taare Zameen par.
The multi-cuisine restaurant offers a range of cuisine to delight your taste buds. At the coffee shop, ‘Sound of Music’, you can sample all the varieties of tea grown in Munnar. Many pure Vegetarian delights are also a specialty. The conference hall has modern facilities and is ideal for corporation meetings, informal gatherings and celebrations.
