Munnar is one of the popular hill-resort towns in Kerala and most sought after tourist destination in South India. Nilgiri Tahr or Varayadu , the endangered species in Red data book had a sanctuary at Munnar i.e Eravikulam National Park.

Top station, 41 km away from Munnar is aptly named, as it is home to some of the highest tea plantations in India. It offers a panoramic view of rolling green hills.

Anamudi Peak lies to the interior of the Eravikulam National Park. This is a perfect place for trekking as enough facilities are arranged here for the tourists and they are permitted to go on foot to Anamudi.

Mattupetty located 13 km from Munnar is situated at a height of 1700 m, and is a delight for nature lovers. Of all the main attractions at Mattupetty is the dairy farm, run by the Indo-Swiss Livestock Project. The sprawling Kundala tea plantations, Kundala Lake and the echo point are other attractions.

Lush green tea plantations and breathtaking scenery in the area, wildlife and crystal clear trout streams interspersed with valleys, cliffs and gurgling brooks. Munnar is simply awesome …. Never leave without visiting Sandalwood Forest of Marayoor and the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary.
