Ranipuram Ecotourism Project

Mr.Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, minister for Kerala Tourism officially launched an eco-tourism project at Ranipuram in Kasaragod district. The function was presided over by Mr. Benoy Viswom, Kerala Forest Minister.

Showcasing the rich beauty of the pristine Kerala hill station and biodiversity spot, Kerala Tourism’s new project will cost Rs.30.56 million. The aim is the the development of basic infrastructure as well as the maintenance of road from Panathady to a base camp. Ranipuram, which lies on the Kerala-Karnataka border, is blessed with year-long cool climate.
