Located three kilo meters from Lakkidi, Rain Country Resorts is 1300m above the sea level and is one of the highest rain fed destinations in India. One of the coolest place in Kerala, it is in the midst of verdant misty hills spread over 22 acres of land. Surrounded by thick tropical vegetation, it is situated in a valley of three hills. The 21 cottages here preserve the sanctity and serenity of the natural beauty. The natural green surroundings and tranquil settings here make it a peaceful location for the perfect retreat.
The cottage rooms are Kerala style tile houses and give an aerial view of the resort. Equipped with all modern luxurious facilities, including separates wooden balcony and bathrooms with bath tabs, they ensure that one has all the comforts required and yet is close to the nature.
The wooden cottages come with two rooms, open veranda, dressing area and bath room without bath tubs. Wake up to a misty morning sunshine overlooking the lake within the resort. These cottages are stream facing.
Three Deluxe Wooden cottages overlook naturally formed lake in the Kerala resort with separate balcony and open bathrooms with bath tubs.
The independent cottage is a Kerala style tile houses with wooden balcony,giving a breathtaking view.
The Wooden honeymoon cottage comes with an open veranda where one can sit and enjoy the bounty of nature and has a panoramic view of the resort. This luxurious cottage is equipped with modern facilities Yet not comprising on Kerala heritage and architectural beauty and has a separate dressing area and bathroom with bath tub.
Natural Pool, fishing, soft trekking, indoor and outdoor games, bird watching , nature walk, Ayurveda, multi-cuisine restaurant, conference facility, picnics on request, etc. are other facilities available here.
