Police aid post in Kerala ensures safety of tourists

As tourism season is round the corner, Police dept is beefing up security across Kerala. The police department has decided to set up a Tourism Protection and Police Assistance Centre at key tourist spots. Police aid post in Kerala ensures safety of tourists.

Kochi like always expects a better and huge number of tourist inflow. But the main question that concerns the tourists is their safety; how safe is Kochi for tourists? In order to safeguard the spirit of tourism and to address growing anti social elements problem, the Police has taken these steps. The success or failure of a destination depends on ensuring a safe and secure environment for visitors.

Kochi is hoping to address the rising problem with this police aid post where tourists can lodge their complaints easily and also get information on immigration and visa extensions, travel assistance etc.

The city police has already deployed several police personnel at major tourist spots in the city to ensure safety of foreign tourists.
