Peerumedu

Peerumedu named after Peer Mohammed, the Sufi saint who had close association with the erstwhile Royal Family of Travancore, this famous plantation town is located 35 km from Thekkady in Idukki district. Wide array(vista) of tea, cardamom, rubber and coffee plantations interspersed with silver cascades add charm to this picturesque place. Lush green grasslands and mist-clad hillocks make Peermedu an unforgettable experience.
