Peechi Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary

Peechi Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1958 and it is one of the oldest wildlife reserves in Kerala. Formed around the twin reservoirs of Peechi and Vazhani, this sanctuary has a rich repository of bio-diversity. Several endangered herbs, shrubs, rare medicinal plants and innumerable variety of orchids grow profusely in this sanctuary.
