Pazhassi Raja Museum, Wayanad

A new museum is coming up at Mananthavady in Wayanad district dedicated to Pazhassi Raja, the Lion of Kerala, who organized guerilla warfare against the British East Company. The Museum features the history of Pazhassi Raja as well as the archeological and cultural aspects of the region.  Almost all the work has been completed and will be opened to the public in the near future. The museum is inside the compound of Pazhassi Tomb, the final resting place of Pazhassi Raja.
