KTK VS RCB – Kochi Tuskers Kerala vs Royal Challengers Banglore will be played at KTK home ground Kochi, Kerala. Kochi Tusker Kerala play their first IPL 2011 in Kaloor International Stadium,  Kochi on April 9th,2011. The match will start at 8pm. Speculations were raged  at shifting home ground venue to Ahamadbad . But at last franchisee confirmed that Kochi would be the home venue for IPL season 2011. Thanks to KTK franchisee for considering mass dissatisfaction of fan base and media trial.

The fourth season of Indian Premier League (IPL) will begin from 8th April, 2011 and conclude on 28th May,2011 with the final match. The inaugural match of IPL 2011 will be hosted by the winners of last year, Chennai Super Kings at Chennai. The first match will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.

Kochi Tuskers Kerala will play 14  league matches against all the other IPL cricket teams, out of 14 matches 4 matches will be played at their home ground Kochi.

Kochi IPL team already earned a lot more popularity due to the controversies like legal issues and team name change, conflict of interest between stake holders .Finally they have sorted out all their problems. Under the Captaincy of  Mahela Jayawardane and with a high profile team line up, Kochi IPL team has to prove their capabilities by performing a thrilling match that would be enough to satisfy the fans.
