Recording the highest growth rate among tourism establishments in the country, Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) is the most successful public sector undertaking The KTDC group of hotels has already stamped the power in term of quality, marketing and hospitality. In fact, the conversion of 14 KTDC properties, including Yatri Nivas, into Tamarind East Hotels has been one of Ktdc’s important projects. The tariff will be that of a budget hotel, but the facilities will be upgraded to provided decent accommodation include ahost of modern faciliyies. The hotel will be no frill properties which assure clean room, clean linen, clean toilets at exotic locations of Kerala at reasonable tariff.
KTDC also went through a large scale renovation process. The restored heritage block of Mascot Hotel and its adjoining Sayahna garden restaurant was refurbished and later the Samudra (Kovalam), Chaithram (Trivandrum) Tea County (Munnar), Lake Palace (Thekkady), Nandanam (Guruvayoor) also went through various stages of enhancement.
KTDC resorts like Samudra, Waterscapes, Tea County, Thaneermukkom, Bolgatty Palace and Mascot Hotel are also ideal places for MICE, which have state-of-the-art facilities for conferences and conventions. Above all, the KTDC has given her signature in all beautiful destinations to cater the needs of her guests.
