Holiday Inn Cochin opened – one more global brand in Cochin for everyday people

Inter Continental Hotels Group (IHG) the world’s largest hotel group by number of rooms, launched Holliday Inn Cochin in July 2011. The Kerala hotel located in close proximity to the National Highway Bypass, is being promoted by Indroyal Group, Kerala-based international manufacturers of furniture and managed by IHG brand ‘Holiday Inn’, a hotel chain based in the U.K. With the promise of being ‘A fresh destination for everyday People’, Holiday Inn Cochin will present delightful opportunities across the year, making it making it easily accessible to both business and leisure travellers.

Holiday Inn Cochin, 16 floor hotel, has 25,000 sq.ft and 212 rooms is spread on 1.6 acres. The superior rooms, deluxe ones, executive and finally, the presidential suite sum up the four kinds of rooms, adding up to 212 room property. 94 rooms are currently operational and the remaining rooms will be operational in a couple of months.

Holiday Inn Cochin offers guests a wide selection of food and beverage outlets such as Masala – an all day dining restaurant, serving authentic localized and international cuisines; Roma – The Italian Bistro and Deli KC – Holiday Inn Cochin’s 24-hour coffee shop, a lobby cafe for short eats.

Guests staying at the Holiday Inn Cochin can rejuvenate themselves through a wide array of health club facilities with an in house trainer and unwind at the hotels’ infinity pool, which overlooks the tree lined Cochin cityscape.

Stadia, the sports themed house bar are where each table has a little statuette of a golfer as the centrepiece. On its side walls are life size boats and oars used as wall hanging. The pool bar, Oasis, is serene with the greenery around, and the cool open air pool, with chairs to relax or read. The ballroom can accommodate 250 guests.

There’s a business centre, multilingual staff and meeting rooms of different sizes, with facilities for power point presentations.
