Guruvayur Museum

Guruvayur museum mainly showcases various crafts and holy objects that are dedicated by devotees of Lord Sri Guruvayurappan. Guruvayur is a temple town in Thrissur district famous worldwide for the temple of Lord Srikrishna. The devotees address the Lord as Sri Guruvayurappan. Guruvayur museum is managed by the Guruvayur temple management. A rare collection of ancient wood carvings from nearby temples are on display here. The museum also displays different types of traditional bronze lamps, photographs, temple models, wooden sculptures, masks used for the art Krishnanattam etc.

Admission is free, photography not allowed.

Timing: 8am to 8pm (There is no holiday for this museum)
