Focuz 2011, an inter college Photography and Movie making contest will be held on 26th February, 2011 at Amal Jyothi Engineering Campus, Kanjirappally, Kottayam. The event will be inaugurated by M.G.University Syndicate Member Mr:Alex Kannippara at 10 am.The contest will start from morning 10.30 am onwards.

The event is being organized by NSS unit of the College in memory of late Lukes Joy who was also a NSS volunteer. He was a talented photographer and this contest “Lukes Memorial Photography Contest- Focuz 2011” is truly dedicated to him.

The main aim of the Photography and Movie Making Contest is to bring out the hidden talent of the individual and to unleash the creativity within them …It aims to help students unveil their talent and interests, transforming each individual into a better person for the future.

Prizes

Winners will get a cash prize of Rs. 5000 /- . Rs. 3000 /- and Rs. 2000/ – on both photography and movie making contest individually.

Photography Contest Rules

Registration fees – Rs.50/-
Bring Camera and Identity Proof
Single person can only participate in the competition not a team
Contest hours – 3 hours

Movie Making Contest Rules

Registration fees – Rs.100/-
Software and System will be provided by organizers
A team of 4 members can participate
Competition hours – 4 hours ( including the editing time)

Theme will be provided on spot for Photography and Movie making contest.Entries for the contest will be accepted from 9 am onwards on the function day.
