First ever Darts championship to take place at Cochin

If you are a good thrower, here it is a good news for you ! Team Sam academy in association with the Cochin Club have announced first ever Darts Championship in Kerala. The venue will be Cochin Club, Church road, Fort Kochi and the date is 26^th of June, 2011, Saturday.

The tournament will be held in categories for men, women and under 15 and under 18 years juniors. Entry fee is Rs.100/-.  The competition will commence from 11am. The winners will be awarded with trophies and certificates.

This Championship will be the criteria for the selection of the singles and doubles Kerala State Darts Team for the 9^th National Darts Championship to be held in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh from 5^th to 7^th July, 2011.

This will be the most exciting event that it would be your best opportunity to get a spot in Kerala State Darts Team.

Darts is a form of throwing game where darts are thrown at a circular dartboard fixed to a wall.  It is a popular game in pubs.
