Eravikulam National Park is situated 15 km from Munnar.  The Eravikulam National Park’s main attraction is the Nilgiri Tahr and the spectacular Neelakurinji flower (Strobilanthes kunthianus) that blooms once in 12 years. South India’s highest peak, Anamudi situated at a height of 2695 m is located in the southern region of the park.
