DO’s and DON’Ts for Lakshadweep Travel

Those who are planning to Lakshadweep tour and travel, we have few tips for them. Always remember while traveling to a new place or new location may have different culture, always respect their culture. DO’s and DON’Ts for Lakshadweep Travel

DO’s

• Make all reservations before reaching.
• Carry any special medications you require. Only basic medicines are available there
• Carry your special brand cigarettes, cosmetics etc. for use as only ordinary varieties will be available on the islands
• SPORTS representative will also be there to assist you in the ship

DON’Ts

• Consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited in all the islands
• Take drugs or narcotics – it is a punishable offense.
• Avoid picking up corals and shells. It is a punishable crime here.
• Littering around the land or water is not allowed as it affects the natural environment.
• Swimming or sunbathing nude is prohibited.
• Coconut groves are privately owned. Unauthorized plucking of coconuts is deemed as a theft.
