Cherai Beach

Cherai is a  lovely beach bordering the Vypeen island,  around 23 km from Ernakulam is an ideal beach for swimming. Dolphins are occasionally seen here.   Another added attraction of  Cherai is the nearby typical Kerala village with paddy fields and coconut groves.
