India won today’s semi final match and brought cheers to all Indian faces….. Cricket God Sachin Tendulkar declared man of the match for his 85 runs of 115 balls….. A good answer to Pakistan Skipper’s challenge.

Much awaited India – Pakistan semi final will be played on Mohali  Cricket  Stadium on Wednesday, March 30th, 2011. Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, which also known as Mohali Stadium is located at Mohali, Chandigarh with a seating capacity of 30,000 spectators.

India defeated Australia by 5 wickets and Pakistan has beaten  west indies to reach the semi finals. All eyes are on this game, arch rivals,  India –Pakistan Cricket clash. Pakistan Skipper Afridi has started war of words and challenged Sachin Tendulkar that Pakistan team won’t allow him to score century.  After this comment, India vs Pakistan match took a new dimension. We have to see whether Afridi’s remark will backfire Indian team and motivate themselves.

Fans are flocking desperately to the PCA stadium for getting the tickets and now we can expect a sell-out crowd for this historic India – Pakistan match.

Ahead of India –Pakistan match, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh sent an invite to Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and President Asif Ali Zardari to watch the match. It seems as a cricket diplomacy. A good number of Pakistani fans are also expected to come here from across the border to support Pakistan.

India Pakistan match would be the biggest of the tournament so far and  it does not get better than this. Heading to the semi final, India is playing in front of their home crowd give Indian team huge pressure.
