Aruvikachal Waterfalls

Dhoni Waterfalls

Dhoni waterfalls is situated in Palakkad district of Kerala. It is just 12 km from Palakkad town. The ideal time to visit waterfall is soon after monsoon. Kombaikani Waterfalls

These are two famous waterfalls on the upper reaches of the Neyyar reservoir in Thiruvananthapuram. It is located in Kallar the way to Ponmudi. Through dense forest 2 km trekking will take to Meemutti waterfalls.  Further  2km will take to Kombaikani waterfalls.

Maramala Waterfalls

Maramala, exactly 7km from Teekoy rubber estate, this waterfall lies a few kilometers away from Erattupetta. To reach the waterfalls one has to trek through the estate over the rocky path. The waterfall comes from a height of 60mtr and falls into a 12mtr deep pool to join the Teekoy river way down.

Meenmutty Waterfalls

Meenmutty Waterfalls is the tallest waterfall in Wayanad and second largest waterfall in Kerala. It is a three tier cascading waterfall from a height of 300metres.  The main attraction of this place is long day trekking in deciduous forest.

Meenvallam Waterfalls

Ten step waterfalls is the main attraction of this place.  Located near Thuppanadu river  originate from Kalladikode Mountain. Waterfalls from nearly 20- 25 feet and collected in depth of nearly 15 -20 feet. Of the ten waterfalls eight can be located in the upper hills inside the dense forest. Rest two can be accessible only through trekking or jeep.  Best time to visit is April-May.

Mulamkuzhi Waterfalls

In Ernakulam district Mulamkuzhi is a small village about 15 km from Malayattur. It is situated at the point of juncture of rivers Periyar and Perumthode. The river Mulamkuzhi flows through the nearby mountain ranges and cascades into a huge waterfall. It is a picturesque location and a very famous tourist site.

Palaruvi Waterfalls

Palaruvi, which means “Stream of Milk” is located 75 kms from Kollam town. This beautiful waterfall hurtles down from a height of 300 feet and collects into a small and shallow pool down beneath, where visitor are allowed for swimming. Thusharagiri

Thusharagiri means snow covered mountain is situated in Kodencherry in Kozhikode district, a tribal tourist centre. From western ghat two streams originated to form Challipuzh River. Challipuzha River split into three waterfalls, throwing a snowy spray, which gives the name Thusharagiri. Thenpara of the three waterfall, highest falls from a altitude of 75 meters. Aruvi Waterfalls

Just 60 kms away from Thiruvananthapuram is another magnificent waterfall called the Aruvi waterfalls and it is just 7 kms away from Bonecaud estate which lies in the Peppara forest range. This four feet cascade is relatively untouched and not many know about this waterfall. One can travel by a vehicle only up to the Bonecaud estate. From there on, the Kanni tribesmen, belonging to one of the 13 tribal settlements settled in the Peppara range show the way to trekkers.
