Barcamp – Barcamp Kerala 10

Great news for all techies … It’s great to hear another Barcamp is coming to Cochin.

Barcamp Kerala 10 (BCK 10) will happen on May 15th, 2011 at SCMS – B School, Kalamassery, Kerala. This is the 10th edition of  Barcamp Kerala and it would be an inspirational and fun day.  Barcamp is the most popular community driven tech event and an open, welcoming, once-a-year event for geeks to hang out with wifi and smash their brains together for great ideas.

What is Barcamp ?

Barcamp is an “un conference” – an user generated conference – by participants for participants without having a set agenda. You can share thoughts, insights and expertise,  network, learn, speak ,demonstrate your project, asking lot of questions and participate workshop in a cool environment. There would be no spectators, here you  would be both a speaker and listener not only contribute something.

It is a meet and greet event, where geeks could mingle with other geeks, drink coffee and float ideas.

BarCamp Kerala – this  self organized forum  has been born out of a desire from Kerala tech minds to camp out, have sessions, to come up with awesome ideas and get it shared, learn about its opportunities . Simple theme is “learn, share, interact, contribute, push yourself and your thinking”

If you have confused with the name Barcamp- it has nothing to do with bars or drinking…  Barcamp time is just rock and rejuvenate your minds with technical beverages.

Barcamp idea is  truly social constructive experience.  Barcamping is doing, learning, sharing of doing and sharing of learning , bringing the ideas into reality.  If you have an idea that you’ve been brainstorming and planning, this is an event where you can get more help and feedback.  They will talk about Blogging, latest trends in technology, AdSense, Online Plagiarism, SEO and related stuff .
