Banasura Resorts and Villas
Banasura Resorts and Villas is an ambitious hospitality industry project of the Seagot Developers based in Wayanad, Kerala. Wayanad was short-listed by the Department of Tourism in 2007-2008 to be highlighted at all major domestic and International Travel Fairs. The Kerala Tourism Department has come out with special literature, brochures, CDs on Wayand for this purpose alone.

“The Banasura Resorts and Villas project when fully completed will be the biggest of its kind in entire South India.
The project is worth more than Rs 100 crore and its target is 250 cottages to be completed in three phases, that is, 100,50, 100 cottages respectively.
It is for the first time in India, that such a mammoth project is being done on Build, Operate and Transfer principle”, He said.
The Seagot Resorts and Villas property is approximately 30 acres in size and can be accessed by both road and water. It is just 1.5 km away from the main road and five minutes by speed boat from the jetty. The resort will also have a private helipad. For a start, Seagot Banasura Resorts and Villas will have 35 two- bedroom villas and 20 cottages with 4-star facilities. The plot is surrounded by water on three sides and land on one side with the majestic Banasura Hill as its background.
“Banasyra Sagar Dam is blessed by Mother Nature. A location as ideal as this is available nowhere in entire Kerala”, says Mr.Ashraf.
Concrete construction is being kept to the bare minimum and cottages are being innovatively constructed using eco-friendly materials, while at the same time offering luxurious comfort. Well appointed multi-cuisine restaurant, conference hall, health club, and billiards room, swimming pools, Kerala Ayurveda spas, trekking paths, land scaped gardens, open air theater, speed boating, and fishing facilities, etc. will be among the new project’s highlights.
“We will float join attractive packages with other Kerala resorts, airlines, etc in general and with Hotel Green Gates, sister concern of the Seagot Group, in particular”, said Mr.Ashraf.
The Department of Hydel Tourism has already introduced speed boats and pedal boats on a trial basis. The Response has been very huge and this has hastened the process of promotion by the Kerala Tourism Department.
The main entity of success behind the atute professionalism of the Seagot Banasura Resorts and Villas is a team of dynamic entrepreneurs. The brainchild of Mr.Ashraf C.C ,this project was started way back in 1998, backed by a team of professionals (both resident and non-resident Indians)with international business exposure, experience and acumen.
