Dr. Rajesh Madanan and his wife Simi, own the place and they try to run the place in as eco friendly a manner as possible.

All the produce used is farm fresh and no pesticides are used in the cultivation, so their food is healthy.

Ambady Estate offers a lot of activities like in house trekking – you can trek through the 70 acre cardamom plantation, enjoy bird watching, wildlife sightseeing, meditation and yoga and a farm stay experience in which you can observe and participate in the plantation activities. Guests are given the chance to participate in the unique farm culture of Munnar. They can along with the staff and get to see all the processes in plantation cultivation- the picking, drying, curing and storing.
