Introduction:-

The temples in every town of kerala have at least one trace of origin to antiquity. Some of the most revered temples of Kerala are Padmanabha Swami Temple and Sivagiri Temple in Thiruvananthapuram district, Guruvayoor Temple in Trichur district, Sabarimala Temple and Tiruvalla Temple in Pathanamthitta district, Mannarshala Temple and Ambalapuzha Temple in Alappuzha district.

Some of the luscious wildlife sanctuaries and national parks are Peppara Wildlife sanctuary, Neyyar Wildlife sanctuary, Shenduruni Wildlife sanctuary, Periyar Wildlife sanctuary, Idduki Wildlife sanctuary, Chinnar Wildlife sanctuary, Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary, Thattekad Bird Sanctuary, Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Silent Valley National Park and Eravikulam National Park. Exotic beaches:-
Kerala has some of the finest beaches in India. The 600km long sandy shoreline is embellished with some of the world’s exotic beaches, lagoons, natural harbors and sheltered coves. These palm fringed beaches are one of the favorite hot spots for both International and National tourists. Some of the popular beaches blessed with breathtaking beauty are Kovalam beach, Poovar beach, Varkala beach, Alappuzha beach, Cherai beach, Fort Kochi beach and Kappad beach. Ayurveda Treatment:-
Kerala is famous for Ayurveda, an ancient Indian system of medicine for treatment, which is well known across the globe. It is believed that this ancient form of treatment has been originated from Kerala. Ayurvedic treatment is one of the major attractions for many tourists who come here. It is assumed as one of the best ways of treatment without undergoing any surgical operations or intaking heavy doses of costly medicines. Some of the famous Ayurveda center of the Kerala are Rajah Healthy Acres in Palakkad district, Manasa Sarovar Ayurveda Mandir at Trivandrum, Karakathi Beach House at Kovalam etc.
Access to Kerala:-
Kerala is well connected by Rail, Air and by Road.
By Air: The quickest way to get to Kerala is by air. The airlines here are connected to almost all important Indian states. Kerala has three International air ports at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode. All these are well connected to both domestic and International flights. Some of the International destinations which are joined to Kerala are Colombo, Maldives, Abu dabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Bahrain, Doha, Ras-al-khaimah, Kuwait, Riyadh, Muscat, Fujairah and Singapore.
By Rail: The trains in Kerala connect all important cities in India. There are nearly 200 railway stations in Kerala, which are very well connected to each other by the extensive network of Indian Railway. Long distance express trains connect Kerala with the four metropolitan cities of the country such as Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata.
By Road: One can also get to Kerala by the vast network of roads that connect every region of Kerala with each other. The National highways that connect Kerala with rest of the country are NH 47, 17 and 49.
