Itinerary
Day 01: Airport to Munnar
On arrival at Cochin Airport we’ll meet you and transfer by to Munnar is among the picturesque hill stations to enjoy pleasurable holidays in Kerala. Munnar trip is indeed a good reason to nullify the ennui of a journey. Munnar is a plantation hub and you can laze around amidst unending expanse of aromatic tea plantations in the evening. The tea trees blanket the landscape like a soft green carpet creating some of the most picturesque view on Munnar. You spend your night at Mountain club.
Day 02: Munnar
Second day itinerary is devoted to sightseeing in and around “Munnar“. Munnar would be an ideal hill station acts as a welcome break from the usual hustle and bustle of city life and remedy to tired souls. Its comfortable cool weather, beautiful surroundings and tranquil atmosphere make up the perfect romantic set up required that’s why scores of tourists visit here. Munnar is derived from the Malayalam or Tamil words Munu (three) and aaru (river), situated at the meeting point of three mountain rivulet, namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Munnar is situated 1600 m above sea level, which was the most favored retreat of the British Government in South India. Enjoy breathtaking views of Munnar from Anamudi, the highest peak in South India which towers over 2695 m and is home to animals like elephants and the rare endangered mountain goat ‘Nilgiri tahrs’. It is a well known repository of medicinal plants and home to a variety of exotic flora and fauna. There is the Neelakurinji flower that bathes the hill in blue, which blooms every 12 years. Adventure seekers can indulge in the activities like paragliding, trekking, hiking etc… Overnight stay at Mountain club.
Day 03: Houseboat
After breakfast check out hotel and continue drive to Kumarakom for boarding beautifully decorated Houseboat and this takes you on an enthralling houseboat cruise. Kumarakom is a unique backwater destination situated on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Honeymooners find this houseboat cruise as a great, joyful and thrilling experience of lifetime. Meals and stay will be onboard.
Day 04: Kovalam
After breakfast Disembark from Houseboat and start driving towards Kovalam. It is a favored spot of honeymooning couples and beach lovers. Upon arrival check in to the Travancore Heritage. You may relax on the Beach sand, indulge in water sports and can enjoy the scenic beauty of Arabian waves embracing virgin sands. The warm golden sands and calm crystal blue waters of Kovalam beach are the ideal romantic getaway settings for honeymooners.
Day 05: Kanyakumari
After early breakfast start journey towards Kanyakumari to visit the south tip of India. It is an inescapable tourist destination with its multi hued beaches. It is popular as important pilgrim centre as some of the finest temples situated here. Enroute visit magnificent Shree Padmanabhapuram Palace and Suchindram temple. After Lunch boat trip to visit renowned Vivekananda Rock Memorial is built in several architectural styles off the coast on rocks. Drive back to Kovalam in the later evening to take rest.
You can’t afford to miss out the spectacular sunrises and sunsets, especially on full moon days. There is a lighthouse from where one can get a panoramic view of the landscape of Kanyakumari.
Day 06: Kovalam to Trivandrum Airport
On Day-06 Kerala tour itinerary comes to an end .You will be transferred to Trivandrum Airport to board your flight
